Angela talks about

1

Leadership

Diversity + Inclusion

As the former President of the Women’s Sports Foundation and a Sports Envoy for the U.S. Department of State, Angela has been a long-time advocate for women, minorities, and underrepresented communities. Through her experiences on and off the field, she understands the challenges these groups can face and how organizations can foster an environment of acceptance and inclusion.

3

Teamwork

In the 2008 Olympics, Angela was thrown into the spotlight when she had to replace the injured Abby Wambach. Angela parallels her triumph leading the USWNT to a gold medal as the team’s leading scorer with the real life challenges any team member faces when coming together as a group and being prepared to take advantage of opportunities to help your team succeed.

4

Motivation

A champion on and off the field, Angela knows what it takes to succeed at the highest level. Her story and her message of overcoming obstacles, succeeding under pressure, and uniting a group around a common goal serve to motivate and inspire a diverse group of audiences.

A champion and leader on and off the field, Angela looks forward to bringing her message and her story to your stage.

We had the privilege of hearing Briana speak at a company-wide event during Black History Month, and all I can say is WOW! Our employees, friends and family were blown away by the perspective and wisdom she shared with us.

We loved having Angela speak at our event. She has a unique ability to weave together her personal sport experience and larger themes about the benefits of sport more broadly. She cares deeply and is knowledgeable about issues of equity, access, and quality. I can't imagine a better advocate for using sport to catalyze social change or a better role model to inspire young people about what you can achieve through sport.
